Broncos drop CUNYAC match, falling to BMCC Panthers in three sets

The Broncos women's volleyball team lost in straight sets on Saturday afternoon, falling to CUNYAC rival BMCC by scores of 0-25, 5-25, and 4-25. The match was played at the Alumni Gym on the Bronx Community College campus. With the defeat, the Broncos dipped to 0-4 on the 2022 season, including a record of 0-2 in CUNYAC action. The Panthers evened their overall mark at 1-1 (1-0 CUNYAC).

For Bronx, Arian Revells registered a kill and four digs in a losing effort.

The Panthers were paced by Xheni Doci, as he recorded a match-highs of 21 service aces and five assists to go along with four kills. Emmanuella Aurel and Josanne Lewis each contributed five kills, as well.

Bronx will return to action next Saturday, as the Broncos will travel to Kingsborough Community College to compete in a CUNYAC tri-match. At 12:00pm, Bronx will face Queensborough, and that'll be followed a 1:15pm clash with the Wave of Kingsborough.
