Bronx gets the better of BMCC in CUNYAC game 74-50

The Bronx Community College Broncos men's basketball team (5-15, 3-5 CUNYAC) played well to win the game over the Borough of Manhattan Community College Panthers team (1-14, 1-7 CUNYAC) by the score of 74-50.  This win is the 5th of the season for the Broncos.

The team play of the Bronx team was strong from the start.   At half time, the Broncos had a lead of 42-20.   The team shot well the whole game.  The players made 53.6% of the field goals attempted,  From the 3-point area, the team made 7 of 11 shots taken for a 63.6% performance and at the free throw line the team made 7 of 10 shots for a 70% total for the game.  On ball control, the Broncos team had 19 assists, 11 steals, 4 blocks and had 14 turnovers.

Four Broncos starters scored in double figures.  Blaise Atanga score 17 points and had 5 rebounds.    Enmanuel Garcia scored 15 points, 6 assists and had 4 rebounds.  Ramon Santos IV scored 14 points, 7 assists and handled the ball well with 3 turnovers.  Agustin Fernandez scored 11 points and had 8 rebounds.  Malik Dale scored 9 points.  Alassane Sibane made all the shots he attempted for 6 points.

On Saturday, February 12, 2022, the Bronx team travels to Stone Ridge, NY to play the SUNY Ulster Community College Senators starting at 1:OO PM.
