The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) has announced its annual preseason poll for the 2022-23 community college men's basketball season, and the Broncos placed fourth, as voted upon by the league's head coaches.

Bronx went 6-17 during the 2021-2022 campaign, pushing Queensborough to the brink in the CUNYAC semifinals before earning a spot in the NJCAA Region XV Men's Basketball Tournament.

Former long-tenured assistant Warren Thompson received a promotion to Head Coach during the offseason, and this year's roster includes returnees Enmanuel Garcia, Ramon Santos IV, and Ludwin Rosa, as well as a freshman class that includes 10 newcomers eager to make their mark on the program. The Broncos are currently 0-2 this season, and will play their third game against the Vikings of Westchester C.C. in Valhalla, NY on Thursday evening.

Hostos earned the top spot in the poll with 25 points, followed by Queensborough (16), Bronx (14), Kingsborough (12) and LaGuardia (5).

The 2022-23 CUNYAC Community College Men's Basketball Championship is scheduled to begin with semifinal action on Wednesday, Feb. 15, followed by the tournament final on Friday, Feb. 17. The semifinals and final will be played at BMCC.
