Eight Broncos earn CUNYAC Fall Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll Status

The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) announced its 2023 Fall Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll for the fall season on Monday afternoon, handing out 358 citations for classroom excellence during the Fall 2023 semester. Eight student-athletes from Bronx Community College were among the honorees, including men's soccer's Asaa Adiki, Constantin Kamno Tagne, Edwin Martinez, Abdul Mohamed, Mohamed Ouedraogo, and Fabian Rojas, as well as women's volleyball's Abigail Cabrera and Liany ParotFollowing the announcement of the honorees, Director of Athletic Dionne Dodson praised the commitment of the eight aforementioned scholar aces.

"This is an incredible honor for these student-athletes who excel in the classroom while balancing multiple tasks, including competing on intercollegiate teams," Dodson said. "It's a reflection of their hard work and dedication to their academics. The Bronx College Community Athletic Department is extremely proud of them all."
 
The CUNYAC Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes across all 14 member institutions who participated in a varsity-level sport who own a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or better on a 4.0 scale. The list includes sports that conducted their championship in the fall.
