Nassau tops Bronx 60-28

The Bronx Community College Broncos (1-5, 1-1 CUNYAC) women's basketball team loss to the Nassau Community College Lions (4-2) by the score of 60-28.

The Broncos team play is a work in progress.  The highlight of the game was the good effort of the team rebounding on offense and defensive.  The team collected 47 rebounds in the game - 20 on the offensive board.  On offense, the team scored 8 points in the first 2 quarters.  In the final half, the team scored 20 points - a significant improvement.  

Freshman Nyla Harris had 14 rebounds (7 offensive - 7 defensive) and scored 10 points.  Keyanna Drew scored 7 points.  Shawnasia Ofaire had 9 rebounds and scored 5 points.  Catherline McNeal had 11 rebounds.  Frances Harris scored 3 point and had 5 rebounds.

The next game of the Broncos will be on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 starting at 5:00 PM in Alumni Gym against the Monroe College-Bronx Express.
