Kingsborough Holds Off Bronx 68-63

In the first home game of 2022 at Alumni Gym, the Bronx Community College Broncos Men's basketball team came up short in the score against the CUNY Athletic Conference rival of Kingsborough Community College The Wave.  The final score was 68-63 in favor of The Wave.

The Broncos (4-8, 1-2) played with motivation and energy in a close game.  On offense, the field goal shooting from the 3pt area and at the free throw line was absent when needed the most.   Good ball control and rebounding kept the Broncos in the game.  At the end, the Wave (2-10, 2-4) team was able to hold on to the lead.

Malik Dale scored 24 points.  Blaise Atanga scored 18 points, had 17 rebounds and 6 steals.  Joining Atanga's work on the boards, Enmanuel Garcia gathered 17 rebounds too and scored 6 points.  Alassane Sibane scored 9 points and 8 rebounds.  Ramon Santos IV contributed 4 assists.

The Broncos next game will be on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the Ammemam Campus of Suffolk County Community College in Selden, NY starting at 1:00 PM.
