Leading the way for Bronx in its victory was Tilquan Rucker, as he turned in another dazzling performance, connecting on 12 of his 18 attempts from the floor, including seven of his 11 tries from downtown, to finish with 38 points. He also converted on seven of his nine attempts from the charity stripe, while contributing eight steals, five rebounds, and five blocks. Malik Hamilton netted 25 points to draw him within 20 of 1,000 for his Broncos career. He also snatched seven boards, tallied three steals, and added a pair of dimes. William Paradise posted a double-double (12 points, 10 assists), and Abdurahan did the same, scoring 10 points and snatching 15 boards.

The Broncos used a season-high 14 three point baskets in solidifying the victory over Touro. Bronx's previous high was 13 against the Panthers of BMCC back on January 28 at the Alumni Gym. Overall, Bronx shot 43.1 percent from the floor (28-65), while also hitting 22 of its 30 attempts from the charity stripe (73.3 percent). The Broncos, who have struggled with free throws this season (62.6 percent for the season), have connected on 53 of their last 68 attempts overall, a conversion rate equaling 77.9 percent for those recent opportunities.

Bronx will now focus its energy on the 2019-2020 CUNYAC Community College Men's Basketball Tournament, as the Broncos will enter the fray as the No. 2 seed. Bronx will play the No. 3 seeded Panthers of the Borough of Manhattan Community College on Wednesday evening at 6:00pm. Should the Broncos be victorious, they'll advance to play either No. 1 seeded Hostos, or No. 4 seeded Queensborough in Friday evening's conference title game (8:30pm). All three games of the tournament takes place at BMCC.
