Women's basketball defeated by SUNY Ulster 56-33 on Saturday; Ashley Soto contributes 13 points, seven rebounds despite loss

The Broncos women's basketball team suffered a loss on Saturday afternoon to the Senators of SUNY Ulster, falling by a score of 56-33. With the defeat, Bronx slipped to a mark of 0-4 on the 2019-2020 campaign, while SUNY Ulster evened its mark at 1-1.

Despite the loss, newcomer Ashley Soto had the most efficient game for the Broncos, as she scored 13 points while grabbing seven rebounds (including five on the offensive side). Jada Parker netted 14 points while snatching five boards and registering a pair of assists, and Natalie Encarnacion contributed nine rebounds and three blocked shots.

Bronx will return to action Tuesday evening, as the Broncos will host Nassau at the Alumni Gym. Start-time is scheduled for 6:00pm.
