Broncos suffer 2-1 defeat to Nassau on Thursday evening

The Broncos men's soccer team dropped a tough one on Thursday evening, falling to the Lions of Nassau by a score of 2-1 in East Meadow, NY. With the defeat, Bronx slipped to a mark of 4-6 on the year. The Lions improved to 11-1 with the victory.

Nassau recorded a pair of goals in the opening 45 minutes to grab a 2-0 edge at halftime. The Broncos were able to slice that advantage in half during the second stanza when Ruddy Segura netted a goal, but Bronx was not able to net the equalizer.

Bronx will return to action on Tuesday, as the Broncos will take on the Tigers of Queensborough in a crucial CUNYAC match in Bayside, NY. Start-time is scheduled for 2:00pm.
