Women's basketball team overwhelmed in 82-34 loss to Lions of Nassau on Tuesday evening

The Broncos' women's basketball team lost its third consecutive game on Tuesday evening, falling to the Lions of Nassau by a score of 82-34. With the defeat, Bronx slipped to a mark of 1-4 on the 2018-2019 campaign, while the Lions improved their record to 5-1 on the year.

Despite the loss for Bronx, the Broncos were led by Kayla Martinez' 15 points. Nia Simmons added eight, while Asia Nelson scored five.

Bronx will now break for Thanksgiving and return to action on Tuesday evening, November 27, as the Broncos will play host to Suffolk County Community College. Start-time at the Alumni Gymnasium is scheduled for 6:00pm.
