Box Score The Broncos' women's basketball team suffered a tough loss on Tuesday evening, falling to the Sharks of Suffolk County Community College by a score of 64-21. The contest took place at the Alumni Gymnasium in the Bronx, NY. With the defeat, the Broncos dipped to 1-5 on the 2018-2019 campaign, while the Sharks improved to 5-1 on the year.

Despite the loss for Bronx, Asia Nelson posted game-highs of 15 rebounds and three blocks. She also added seven points on the evening.

In the victory for the Sharks, four players scored in double figures, including Aysha Shirley, as she netted a game-high 17 points. She also snatched six rebounds and recorded six assists. Lindsey Devine posted a double-double with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists, and Alexis Jackson and Kasey Koerner scored 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Bronx will return to action one week from tonight, as the Broncos will play host to Dutchess. That game will take place at the Alumni Gymnasium, with start-time scheduled for 6:00pm.
