The Broncos' men's soccer team finalized its 2018 campaign on a positive note, defeating the Colts of SUNY Orange on a cold, windy afternoon at Ohio Field by a score of 2-1. With the victory, Bronx capped its season at 1-10 on the year, while SUNY Orange fell to 2-9-1.
The Colts struck first in this contest when Alejandro Alonzo scored on a direct kick at the 11:40 mark. That would be the only crooked number that would appear on the scoreboard until the 70
th minute, when
Shaibu Musah would score (from
Anthony Williams) to tie the game at a goal apiece. 3:40 later, at 73:02,
Marri Feseru would notch what proved to be the game-winning goal when he scored on a penalty kick.
Bronx dominated the shots category, registering a total of 24 on the afternoon compared to just six for SUNY Orange.
