The Bronx Community College Broncos Baseball team was defeated today by the Westchester Community College Vikings by the score of 10-4 in Valhalla, NY

The game was interesting because both teams played well, were productive and competed.

Broncos Catcher Emmanuel Frias was injured during the top of the 7^th inning.  While running to first base, he badly twisted his ankle.  Instead of stepping on the bag, his left foot jammed in front of the bag instead of stepping on it.  He was taken to the hospital.

The game was called at the end of the inning. 

In a huge sign sign sportsmanship, every player and coach from Westchester CC Vikings came to Bronx CC's Broncos dugout to shake hands and wish Emmanuel Frias well.  Frias recovery is progressing well after receiving medical attention.
