Box Score
December 9, 2017 - New York, NY

The Broncos traveled to lower Manhattan on a snowy Saturday afternoon to face the Panthers of the Borough of Manhattan Community College.

The Panthers got off to a fast start striking first blood by taking a quick lead but the Broncos battled back to tie the game at 8 points.  From that point on, the Panthers began to show the Bronx why they are undefeated in the CUNY Athletic Conference by draining 13 three pointers securing a 24 point lead ending the first half.

Broncos guard Terrell Wigfall's 12 points and Forward Herve Awono's 8 first half points along with supporting efforts from the other Broncos weren't enough to close the gap.  The first half ended with the Broncos going to the locker room behind 62 to 38.

The Bronx team returned to second half action fighting desperately to stay in the game.  Broncos forward Oluwatosin Onabanjo came out strong scoring 16 second half points (finishing with 18 points) and forward Herve Awono contributed 10 second half points (finishing with 18 points) of his own in the Broncos attempt to win the game.  Not even guard Terrell Wigfall's overall 21 points couldn't bring the Bronx any closer to the Panthers now overwhelming lead.

The clock ticked to zero with the Panthers over the Broncos 120 to 93 bringing the Broncos CUNY Athletic Conference season record to 0 wins 3 losses, NJCAA Region XV 2 wins 6 losses and 4 wins 8 losses overall.

The Broncos will be hosting the Falcons of Dutchess Community College at Alumni Gym on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 8 pm.
