The Bronx CC Broncos Baseball team completed the regular season schedule during the week of May 2 to May 8, 2016.

After postponement due to rain and wet field, the team travelled to Uniondale, NY to play as the home team against the Nassau CC Lions.   The two games were part of the NJCAA Division III Region XV competition.

The Broncos team did not scored any runs in both games.   The Lions won both games by scores of 2-0 and 3-0.  

The Bronx CC team had 7 hits, struck out 15 times and walked 4 times during the day in 45 opportunities at bat.

The Broncos will not play during the post-season in the CUNYAC Championship and in the NJCAA Region XV Championship Tournament.

The season record for the Bronx CC ended with Win – 8 Loss – 21, Tie – 1

In the CUNY Athletic Conference the Broncos record ended as Win – 5 Loss – 7

In the NJCAA Division III Region XV the final Bronx CC team record was Win – 5 Loss – 15.

Congratulations to the students athletes for their commitment, initiative and effort.  Their performance brought credit and recognition to the team and to each individual player.
