The 1st Bronx Men's Basketball Tip-Off Classic Tournament was the realization of an idea developed over the summer 2016 by Bronx Community College Head Coach Sean Kelly.

The goal of the Classic Tournament was to showcase four teams and their talented players in the New York-New Jersey region that play NJCAA college basketball.

The four teams were County College of Morris, Union County College, Borough of Manhattan Community College and Bronx Community College.

Each team played one game each day on November 5 and 6, 2016.

The results of the games were as follow:

November 5, 2016 -  Union County College won over Borough of Manhattan CC = 80 - 72

                                 County College of Morris loss to Bronx Community College = 83 - 72

November 6, 2016 - County College of Morris loss to Borough of Mahattan CC = 107 - 98          
 
                                         Union County College loss to Bronx CC = 75 - 65
