November 6, 2016 - Bronx, NY

After playing 4 preseason scrimmages, making predictions of what will happen during the regular season is difficult.  The number of unknown factors is large.

Usually, most college basketball teams see the 1st week as the start of a work-in-progress.

The  Bronx Community College Men's basketball team played three home games during the week that ended November 6, 2016.

The first game was on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at historic Alumni Gymnasium.  The Broncos won the game against Bergen County College by score of 92 - 57

On November 5 and 6, 2016 the 1st Bronx CC Tip-Off Classic Tournament was held in Alumni Gymnasium showcasing teams and players from New Jersey and CUNY Athletic Conference teams.

The teams participating were County College of Morris and Union County College from New Jersey.  Borough of Manhattan Community College and Bronx Community College representing CYNY AC.

Bronx CC won over County College of Morris by score of 83 - 72 on the Saturday afternoon 2nd game.

In the Sunday game, Bronx CC won over Union County College by score of 75 - 65

The season record for the Broncos is Win - 3 Loss - 0.

The Broncos team play has a foundation in which to build - teamwork, players accepting their roles and ball control - for the continuation of the development of the team unit.

The first week was a successful one.
