Dan Cinelli

Dan Cinelli was named the head men's soccer coach at Bronx Community College on December 1, 2020.
 
"We are extremely excited to introduce coach Cinelli as the next leader of our program," said director of athletics Ryan McCarthy. "He brings fantastic experiences building winning programs at the local club and high school levels, in addition to having tremendous playing and educational experiences in and around the game."
 
Cinelli brings 30 years of soccer experience to the Broncos. He is a former NCAA Division I player at Fairleigh Dickinson University, playing the 2003 season and helping the Knights to an NEC title and an appearance in the NCAA Division I tournament. After a year at Region XV opponent Nassau Community College, he completed his college career playing for at Marist College in 2006.
 
He has a tremendous amount of valuable club coaching experience. Since 2014, he has served as the Head Coach of Kosmos Athletic Culture, while also holding a position as a Coach and Trainer at Flushing Futbol Academy. Cincelli is also the Director of Youth Soccer at Flushing Futbol Academy. In addition, the new Broncos Head Coach has been the Training Director of Professional Academy of Simple Soccer since 2009. 

Cinelli spent the past three years as the head coach of New Hyde Park Memorial High School on Long Island, coaching the Gladiators to a pair of playoff appearances, with 2018 being the first time the team qualified for and won a playoff game in 12 seasons. During the 2019 campaign, he led New Hyde Park to its first undefeated season (10-0-4) in school History. Additionally, the 2019 Gladiators were ranked one of the Top 10 teams on Long island, and the No. 18 High School soccer team in all of New York State by the New York State Sports Writers Association. For his brilliant tutelage, Cinelli was voted Nassau County Conference A1 Coach of the Year.
 
A constant student of the game, Cinelli has obtained several licenses, including a USSF National C License, a USSF 11V11 Diploma, and a USC Level 2 Goalkeeper Diploma. He is also Concussion Certified.
 
Cinelli graduated from Marist in 2008, earning a Bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing. He is currently attending Ohio University with the intention of obtaining his master's degree in soccer coaching Education; the only soccer sport specific Master's Degree in the country.
