Darien Charlemagne enters his first year as an assistant coach for Bronx Community College.
Charlemagne served as student manager for the men’s basketball team for three years under Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Chris Mullin and his staff. In his time assisting the staff, the Red Storm knocked off numerous nationally-ranked teams, including consecutive victories over No. 4 Duke and No. 1 Villanova in 2018.
He achieved his bachelor’s of science degree in Sport Management and a minor in business administration.
Charlemagne is currently back in school at St. John’s University to achieve his Master’s Degree in Sport Management, focused in coaching.
