April 7, 2026: Broncos 19, Tigers 1 (Five Innings)

In Bronx's dominant home victory over the Tigers this past Tuesday, the Broncos used 14 hits – including five for extra bases – to dominate Queensborough
19-1.

Queensborough plated a run in the top of the first, but it was all Broncos after that. The hosts played seven runs in the first, and tacked on an additional eight in the bottom of the second. Bronx then scored three runs in the third, and another in the fourth. Leading by 18, the Broncos recorded the final three outs in the top of the fifth to trigger the mercy-rule triumph.

Lenox Rondon continued his stellar 2026 campaign by driving in a game-high four runs, registering a triple and a single, while also walking twice and scoring three runs. Hector Jimenez reached base three times, earning a pair of singles and getting hit by a pitch. He also dented home plate three times while picking up three RBI. Justin Perez Salcedo doubled, singled, scored twice, walked, and drove in three runs, and Jason Espinoza (two doubles, two runs scored, two RBI) and Luis Villaman (double, single, walk, two runs scored, two RBI) also played key roles at the plate in Bronx's win.

On the bump, Juan Santos improved to an unblemished 4-0 on the season, tossing a complete-game (five innings), allowing just one earned run on two hits while walking five and striking out nine.

Leuris Serrano recorded the lone RBI for the visitors, registering a first inning RBI single. Domenic Ruggiero and Darren Delacruz reached base twice apiece for the Tigers, with both of the aforementioned players drawing a pair of walks.
