The Broncos women's basketball team continues to search for its first victory of 2019-2020, as Bronx yesterday lost a CUNYAC contest to the Wave of Kingsborough by a score of 73-28. The contest took place in Brooklyn, NY. With the defeat, the Broncos slipped to 0-6 on the season (0-2 CUNYAC), while the Wave improved to 4-2 overall (2-1 CUNYAC).

Despite the loss, Ashley Soto led Bronx, as she knocked down six of her eight attempts from the free throw line on her way to finishing with 12 points. She also grabbed four rebounds and registered an assist. Jada Parker scored in double figures once again, as he netted 10 points while snatching four caroms and recording three assists, and Natalie Encarnacion added four points, nine boards, and two blocked shots.

Bronx will now have four days off before returning to the court on Tuesday evening, as the Broncos will travel to Selden, NY to battle Suffolk County Community College. Start-time is scheduled for 6:00pm.
