The Bronx Community College Women's and Men's basketball teams are playing in the 2017 NJCAA Division III Region XV Championship Tournaments.  Both teams are seeded # 7 in both competition brackets.   Both teams will face the # 2 seeded teams from Sullivan County Community College Generals.

For the Broncos teams, this competition is an opportunity and a challenge.  Playing in post season tournaments provides the student athletes the avenue to display their skills and make contributions to their team play.  The challenge is that to continue playing in the tournament the team must win.

The Women's team will travel to Loch Sheldrake, NY on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 to play an away game at 7:00 PM.

The Men's team will play on Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Westchester Community College Gymnasium at 5:00 PM

During the regular season, the Sullivan County CC teams defeated the Bronx CC teams at home and away.

The reason for excitement and hope in the Bronx community is that the Broncos teams are prepared, motivated and physically fit to play the best basketball of the season.
