Box Score November 4, 2017 - Bronx, NY

In the season opener for the Bronx Community College women's basketball team, the Broncos (0-1) played the Bergen Community College Bulldogs (1-0) to a 80-35 loss in Paramus, New Jersey.

The game was the initial college basketball experience for all the Broncos 1st year players.  Bronx CC scored a total of 13 points in the initial 2 quarters and 22 points the rest of the game.

Playing well for the Broncos were Siara Torres (9 points, 3 assists),Brianna Smith (6 points), Asia Nelson (6 pints, 8 rebounds) amd Nia Simmons (4 points, 8 rebounds)..

The Bronx team performance was a solid start.  The effort, motivation and energy the player showed was positive.   With game experience, the team will improve as the season schedule moves along.,

Ths game was a good learning experience for a work in progress..

The Broncos next game is at home in Alumni Gymnasium on November 7, 2017 against Monroe College - Bronx Express starting at 6:00 PM.
