Box Score November 21, 2017 - Bronx, NY

The Bronx Community College Broncos Women's basketball team played the visiting team from Nassau Community College Lions tonight in Alumni Gymnasium.

The final score was 87-34 in favor of the Lions.

The Broncos team offense did not produced as expected.  The field goal percentage for the game was 17.6% (12-68).  From the 3-point area the team shot 16.7% (2-12) and at the free throw line the team made 8 out 18 attempted chances for a 44.4% in the game.

On  ball control statistics, the Bronx CC team had 41 rebounds and 7 steals.  The team had 3 assists and 26 turnovers.

The loss was the 5th consecutive for the Broncos.

The Broncos team playing effort has been the strength of the offensive and defensive strategy as the players gain experience working together.   The players motivation to work hard to carry out the responsibilities of each position on the court is strong and consistent.  The team is playing better in each game.

The next game for the Bronx CC team will be on December 7, 2017 at 5:00 PM in Loch Sheldrake, NY when they play the Sullivan County Community College Generals.  The game is part of the NJCAA Region XV regular season schedule.
