When the Bronx CC Women's Basketball team finds balance on offense and defense, something unexpected happens.  

The Lady Broncos shot 66.7% (made 10 out of 15 attempts) from the free throw line.  This fact complemented the excellent team effort the players made in winning the Semifinal game of the NJCAA Region XV Championship Tournament over LaGuardia CC Red Hawks by a final score of 62-55 at the Monroe Athletic Complex in New Rochelle, NY.
























The Lady Broncos played a consistent game.  Their shooting percent was 40.5%  They had 49 rebounds, 10 assists, 8 steals and 21 turnovers.

The Lady Red Hawks - the 2016 CUNY Athletic Conference Champions - played well too.  However, making 8 free throws out of 22 attempts made their challenge difficult.



















The leading scorers for the Lady Bronx were Barbara Castro, Angel Mbamalu and Thalia Rodriguez with 18 points each.

On ball control, Angel Mbamalu, Barbara Castro, Shakia Artist and Thalia Rodriguez worked hard on the offensive and defensive boards.
