Box Score 1/24/14 – Bronx, NY      
 
The Lady Broncos fell at the hands of the Red Hawks last night 87-49 in a CUNYAC matchup.  The game was the first ever between the teams to be held in the Alumni Gym, in this inaugural year for LaGuardia CC athletics.

BCC had won the previous matchup between the teams back in December, but the Red Hawks played tough defense from the start, limiting the Lady Broncos to just 18 first half points and Bronx trailed by 22 at halftime 40-18.  Though scoring for the Broncos picked up in the second half, LaGuardia's strong night scoring continued as well.  BCC cut the lead to 12 points early in the second half, but that was as close as they would get the rest of the way. 

Hivelize Escobar led Bronx with 25 points. 

With the loss, the Lady Broncos fall to 6-7 overall and 6-6 within Region XV.  The team returns to action on Sunday, January 26^th as they take on the Sharks of Suffolk CC at 2pm in Selden, NY
