Bronx Broncos

During the week of November 30 to December 6, 2015, the Bronx CC Women’s basketball team played one game in Alumni Gymnasium.  It was a CUNY Athletic Conference and NJCAA Region 15 game.  The Broncos played the LaGuardia CC Red Hawks.

The final score of the game was: LaGuardia CC – 67 Bronx CC- 62.

Freshmen Guard Barbara Castro played 40 minutes.  She made 5 of 14 shots she attempted.  Ms. Castro made 4 of 6 free throws and made 1 of 3 shots from the 3pt line.  Her points total for the game was 15.

In addition, Barbara Castro had 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 4 turnovers in the game.

Barbara Castro played with energy, provided leadership to the offense and defense strategy. She worked hard and had physical energy doing her job.

The season team record for Bronx CC is Win – 4 Loss – 4.  In the CUNYAC the Broncos are Win - 1 Loss- 2.
