During the week of November 30 to December 6, 2015, the Bronx CC Men’s basketball team played one game away in Selden, NY and one game in Alumni Gymnasium in the Bronx CC Campus in the Bronx.
The Broncos played the Suffolk County CC Sharks and the LaGuardia CC Red Hawks.
The final score of the games was: Bronx CC – 92 Suffolk County CC – 69 and LaGuardia CC – 69 Bronx CC- 86..
In both games, Freshmen Forward Richard Gethers Jr. played for 58 minutes. He made 16 of 29 shots he attempted. Mr. Gethers Jr. made 4 of 6 free throws. His points total for the games was 36 points.
In addition, Richard Gethers Jr. had 34 rebounds, 3 steals and 6 turnovers in the games. He also blocked 3 shots.
Richard Gethers Jr.is improving his game skills. He has excellent basketball timing and movement. He is physically strong, moves fast and have quick reactions. His offensive movement has purpose and on defense he is intelligent in recognizing what he has todo to stop what the other team is trying to do.
