Shakia Artist is leading the nation in the NJCAA Division III on block shots after 7 games with 36 blocks for the season.

Shakia Artist had 12 vs Delaware Tech and 17 rebounds vs Mercer CC. She had 5 blocks vs Delaware Tech and 7 blocks vs Mercer County. 
 

 In addition, Shakia Artist scored a total of 26 points (8 points vs Delaware Tech and 18 points vs. Mercer County).

 Shakia Artist contributions to the Broncos team basketball strategy shows improvement from game to game.

The reason to select Shakia Artist as the Female Athlete of the Week that ended November 29, 2015 is her performances in two games where the Broncos team play improved as the game was played.
