Hivelize Escobar was instrumental to the championship run, earning her the BCC player of the week. In their first tournament game they cruised to victory over the Red Hawks behind Escobar's 21 points and 9 boards. Hivelize was named the CUNYAC Tournament MVP after her 28 point, 7 rebound night as the Lady Broncos dismantled Queensborough.
