Bronx Broncos

Mario Folkes excited the home crowd and provided some much-needed offense for a Broncos team struggling to score goals Tuesday evening. Toward the beginning of the second half of play, Mario struck twice, scoring once on an assist from Erick Hungria on a pass into the middle, and the other was a long pass from Steve Kouevi that Folkes punched in. Although the team suffered a 2-3 loss to Westchester, it was encouraging to see Folkes and the Broncos apply some offensive pressure.
